The Sympath is a string resonator / feedback instrument I am designing with help from collaborators Gayle Young and Mitch Renaud. The project is currently in prototyping stages. We look forward to publishing the designs and a DIY guide.
There will be events in Toronto (Canadian Music Centre Chalmers House, 12 April 2024) and Hamilton (TBA) to demonstrate the instrument, discuss its influences and design decisions, and give tips for the DIY build. Follow the blog or check back for updates.
